Suppliers and contract manufacturers face rising material costs while many OEMs insist on fixed long-term pricing and even year-over-year cost reductions to address pricing pressures from their customers. The formula can create polarizing perspectives and unsustainable economic impacts. Most stakeholders are interested in finding a middle ground that works for everyone, but often, win:win solutions seem impossible to identify.
