Dr. Bryan R. McRae is a practicing surgeon at the University of Utah and also serves as interim executive director of the Center for Medical Innovation (CMI). CMI provides medical device development support for educational programs, including the annual “Bench to Bedside” competition, as well as support for faculty projects focused on innovative new medical devices or software technologies. Dr. McRae holds multiple patents (provisional and utility submissions) for various surgical devices and works regularly with the U’s Biomedical Engineering students on device development projects.
